The old saying "too many sweets can be bad for your health" rings true in this fast paced action packed story. Nate and his family are new in town which means a new school and new friends. Does anyone have a recipe for sweets, and cooking method? Rush Need a good sugar:) I appreciate the attempts theanswer, but I'm looking for a recipe, not a place for them, can order online form the Store in Savannah, but want to know how to do ..

Pecan Candy 2 cups brown sugar * 1 ½ cups white sugar 1 cup evaporated milk * 1 teaspoon vanilla * 4 cups pecans, pieces * ½ cup butter * pinch of salt in a deep heavy saucepan, combine milk and brown sugar white, and butter. Boil to softball stage (234 degrees) about 15 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla and nuts. Beat about 2 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. If overbeaten, the mixture is converted into sugar. Drop open large serving spoon on wax paper.
