The following information contains personal speculation on my part, fill the gaps in what the Ford Motor Company has already mentioned about its Mercury brand.

When it comes to car brands, some of them are "corrupted" have been abandoned for many years. General Motors, has more workers, Pontiac, Saturn and Hummer, while the Ford Motor Company, has Mercury, a line of vehicles with his sell its line of Lincoln. As recently as 2007, Ford seems willing to consider the drop of mercury, but reconsidered that move at the insistence of its current CEO Alan Mulally. Mulally insisted that Ford Mercury continued operation, change the brand in a small car dealership that Mercury will be in a new direction.

To that end, we offer the following reflections on how Mercury will be in 2013:

Good-Bye big vehicles - Mercury still sells several large vehicles but that will change soon as the transitions of the brand to a brand of small cars. The old Grand Marquis, Mountaineer and Sable able decorated and leaves. The Sable finish production in 2009, the Mountaineer in 2010 and the Grand Marquis 2011.

Milan Flagship - The largest vehicle fleet Mercury will be the Milan, which itself is a double track for the Ford Fusion. Mercury sedan maintained that she and the hybrid of Milan offer an alternative the smallest cheapest sedan of Lincoln, the MKZ.

The Return of Capri - In the 1970s and 1980s, a small coupe with the name of Capri was sold by Mercury. Sometimes it was the only truly unique car for the brand, while at other times was double the mercury for the Ford Mustang. Look for Ford to use the next generation Focus or Fiesta platform to design a car that is unique to Mercury.

Entering a city car - Ford said that no fewer than six of its European models will be sold for in North America, but has not been described each. The Transit Connect, Fiesta and Focus are final bet with C-Max and Kuga suggested as two others. A model that has not been mentioned, but might be right for Mercury is the Ford Ka city car for up to four is about the size of the Smart Fortwo.

All electric models - Ford has said that an electric car will be offered by 2012, but did not mention what the car could be. The speculation is that a merger will be electrified, while others said it could be a new model for all who share the platform of the Focus. No matter if Ford dealers after Mercury car will see its own version too.

When all is said and done, the mercury may have only three lines of models to sell, but most likely will have a maximum of five. Along with Lincoln, the most exciting car dealerships in the country could be the Lincoln-Mercury dealers that will have a good mix of luxury, superior, standard models entry level for customers to consider.
