Gymboree and Gap for young children and why?

Just wondering what people prefer? I like both but sometimes I think the Gymboree lines are a little too corny for children at times.

I do not buy any specific brand. I buy more along the lines of what I like, and what is more affordable. Also the shop while a child, so there are many gently used different brands there.
