of a eucalyptus tree sick?

We have a tree that is 2 years old and for the past 5 months looks like it is dying in the top of all the branches are bare and the leaves turn brown.Is this winter only one thing or should we cut off the top to encourage tree growth.The new is about 12 feet tall and looks healthy enough thence down.Please help as we love our EUC and so want to grow big.

Trees Eucalyptus are evergreen and if the top has died out of this could be due to very wet, so cutting the top point to a growing and maintaining heathy the tree of a little dryer should see some diffrence
