I am considering joining the Navy. I feel I am doing nothing with my life ... What do you think of the navy? what was boot camp? What should I expect? And what I expect out of it? any input would help.

Hello! I was in the Navy, I miss him very occasionally, I think it would have stayed in, but have different objectives. I went when I was 18, fresh out of high school, at first it was hard to say goodbye to family, but as time passes, you get a bit used to it. The best of the Navy (and all branches) is the people going to meet .... great people. I know they send you away, sometimes .... I always ship at sea, but you're not alone ... have so many people around you and you go through together, you about the people. Bootcamp was a challenge, but not hard, it is bearable ... and like everything else .... get used to it complies with all the other girls and just create links wherever you go. Now I'm out, I'm in my 3rd year of college, and I havent had the need to work, I am using my GI bill to the full and the scholarship application and it gets me through college because I can concentrate 24 / 7. If you decide to join any branch, just enjoy your time there, get everything they can out of it, going to school, while in.. ... if you can save ... meet people .... and if you join the navy like me .... enjoy every country that visit to the fullest.
