Can anyone remember the name for the type of bottle cap that was a top swing reusable glass bottles?

Remember the old RC Cola, the glass bottles that came in a six-pack? (Or was it 8?) Anyway, my dad used to drink, and used these lids attached to the upper neck of the bottle and let the bottle is opened and closed, like the Grolsch beer bottles or a bottle of EZ superior. I am searching the internet for bottle caps and can not find anything, but maybe it's just because I do not know the name. Can you help?
